Jimmy Wales explains how Wikipedia came to be. This video was filmed in 2005, so it’s not the most up to date.  However, it is really interesting hear him talk about Wikipedia. He explains how Wikipedia is funded and how prevalent it is. He discusses Bush and Kerry controversy in Wikipedia, which as he explained wasn’t a controversy at all, because most people understand the need for neutrality. He then explains the neutrality policy surrounding Wikipedia. I found this video to be very interesting. He is a very good speaker and he doesn’t use a lot of jargon.
