Context: Public Libraries
Audience: Youth (0-18)
I am interested in learning more about the use of e-books for public library users, especially users under the age of 18. There is a popular belief that e-books are out-publishing, out-ranking, and out-circulating regular print books. Studies have shown that kids still prefer to read print book, and while e-books are becoming more popular and available, they are still many issues surrounding licensing and availability for patrons. I am interested in learning more about user trends, and potentially how programming can incorporate more e-books and electronic resources.
