Technology: Scratch
Context: After school programing in either a public or school library
Audience: Upper Elementary School Students (3rd-5th grade)
I always really wanted to learn more about Scratch. From what I know about it, it is a good introduction to computer programing. I always wanted to learn more about programing and coding, but never really had the opportunity to. Scratch seems like a great way to expose younger kids to computer programing in a fairly innocent environment and from what I know, would make a great children's program in a library setting.
