Effective Blogging for Libraries

This is a great book for libraries that plan to start their blogging. The author mentioned “Effective Blogging for Libraries is part of THE TECH SET, a series of ten practical, concise guides to implementing today's best technologies in your library to enhance the library-user connection.”
Connie gave good background information on blogging and how to get started on some of the various blog sites--Blogger, Wordpress, etc.This book covered some very useful topics, such as accessibility, usability, marketing, SEO, etc. It also covered topics such as gathering statistics about your blog.

Connie Crosby is the principal consultant at Crosby Group Consulting specializing in knowledge management, information management and social media primarily for the legal and information industries. She teaches continuing education courses on social media at the iSchool Institute, University of Toronto.
