After researching QR codes, I decided to make a scavenger
hunt in my own library using QR codes. I went to linda.com to learn how to make
QR codes. I wanted my QR codes to display text rather than URL. Sadly,
UW-Madison doesn’t have the most updated version of Adobe InDesign CS6 so the
information I got from linda.com wasn’t helpful. I did some research and talked
to a lovely woman in the computer lap about my situation. We decided to use http://createqrcode.appspot.com/
create my QR code. This website was really easy and super-fast. I have created
a scavenger hunt in a manner of fifteen minutes.
